Since February 2011, the Middle East has been in turmoil. Uprisings led to the overthrow of governments in Yemen, Egypt, Libya and Tunisia. Syria is tottering. The Muslim Brotherhood is gaining power. Will democratic elections result in democracy?
The resulting instability may well have profound effect on Israel and upon Israeli-Palestinian relations into the future. Are "settlements" in the so-called West Bank the real obstacle to peace?
Sondra Oster Baras, a resident of Samaria, a former attorney and a student of the Bible, will update audiences on the challenges facing Israel today, with particular focus on the Biblical Heartland.
